Hey there. Have a 04 accord 2.4 l4. I have this p1009 and p2646. I cleaned the vtc strainer screen to get rid of 2646, changed the oil and filter as I had found a small amount of metal in the oil. Is there anyway I might be able to relate these codes to the metal? 2646 put me in limp mode and 1009 leads me to believe the metal is from the camshaft. The car was low on oil before I got it, I replaced the switch and did an oil change but the codes came back 150 miles later

P1009 VTC advance malfunction

P2469 VTEC solenoid valve circuit voltage high.

Cleaning out the screen just proved P1009 is the code condition that capable of puttintg the engine in limp mode, If the screen was plugged what about the passage? P1009 is capable of setting a cam position code. if the passage is plugged. P2469 either the connection for the VTEC is not connected, or the solenoid is non operation or there is no power for it from the ECM
