HI there,

This code is for the cam position sensor on bank 1. It's not uncommon for the sensor to fail and stop sending signals to the computer. When this happens the engine will usually stop running as this is one of the sensors that drives spark and fuel. Usually replacing the sensor will resolve the problem. Sometimes if the timing belt breaks or jumps time you will get this code as well.
