What is the code C0186 on this cadilac mean?

This2004 cadilac escalade ext 6.o litre engine all wheel drive pulled up a code at one of our parts store of C0186 and they could not tell me what it means. The problem was the gauges just started to fluctuate really bad for a few seconds and then became normal for about ten minutes, it did that a few times then all gauges went out on instrument panel for about 5 minutes then came back on. They have been working ok for now. PUZZLED. Thanks.

C0186 Lateral acceleroter circuit

This is for te ABS system or the yaw rate sensor or better known as the steering angle, When C0186 comes on the ABS system is disabled. and you would have a mesage on the instrument panel for stability service needed. This has nothing to do with the instrument panel gauges. At one time the instrument panel was under a Recall warranty for whats happening to the instrument panel now.
