P0460 and P0463 showing on 03 Lincoln Town Car

Question

engine light is on and codes P0460 and P0463 showing on 03 Lincoln Town Car after replacing the fuel pump and sending unit assembly, also the fuel gauge no longer works and the trip center DTE is now showing CO. had no problem with guages or codes until the fuel pump died and replaced it.

any help on where to start to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated.

P0460 Fuel level sensor circuit malfunction

P0463 Fuel level sensor circuit high input

The fuel pump  module.  Circuit high code are moslyt condition when there is either poor connection or no connection. without a reading from the fuel pump sending unit your fuel gauge is not going to work at all. and trip center will also not work. If the connection at the fuel pump module is good. replace fuel pump module.
