fusion 2014 check engine light is on after diagnostics it says catalyzer system low efficiency (bank 1) what exactly needs to be replaced

The code is for the converter and in most cases the converter is required to resolve the problem. This is covered under the federal emissions on the car in the US for 8 yrs and 80k miles. It would be under warranty if you are in the US
