P2138 Chevrolet -

Question

The accelerator pedal was replaced with a a/c delco part apox 1 year ago.
The harness and t body has also been replaced.
Could this code the fuel pump?

P2138 Accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor 1-2 correlation

Yes the fuel pressure can cause a P2138, But if this condition with the fuel pump did occur you would also code a MAF (Mass airflow) Range/perfromance code., with also a lean Bank codes.If P2138 is by itself then it make it very unlikely to be related to a fuel pump problem. P2138 are more of a high resitance code condition. either at its connection or in the sensor itself. Chevy does have a TSB about this condition that should be looked into for the solution TSB # 07-06-04-019D Titled Electrical -intermittent MIL /  DTC P2138 Reduced power. What this TSB wants you to do repair insturment panel (IP) to body harness connection.
