Hello, i replaced the old KS (cracked) with a new one.. I still have the code??.. i also noticed the sensor has a 2 pin plug, but only one wire connected to it? does this seem right?? it was also taped up with electrical tape.. thanks for the help

Hi there

It's normal for the knock sensor to only have one wire. Most of the time when you replace it and the code comes back it's due to the block not being clean and the sensor not being properly torqued. 

It is possible there is a wiring issue as well, but it is a single wire sensor.
