Where is the camshaft position sensor in a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox LT 2.4L 4 cylinder engine sensor and how do I know if it is damaged? please send a photo

Hi there,

Usually the sensor fails and causes a code for the cam sensor. It's also possible the timing is off, I have seen that cause the codes as well. #10 on the diagram is the sensor.
