P0171B JAGUAR -

Question

I drive a Jaguar 2002 x-type 2.5. It displays error code P0171B (bank 1 system too lean), check engine light is on, display reads "cruise control is not available at this time"...the engine occasionally boggs down when accelerating.

This code is the system to lean on bank 1. This could be the result of some type of intake air leak or low fuel pressure. The mass air flow sensor will also cause this code to appear. Here is some more info on the code for you.
