P0733 FORD - after swapping engine/trans module in a 2001 windstar sport. is a ECM flash all I need to do?

I lost the engine in the 2001 windstar. A bought another van that was wrecked in the back end. The auto wreckers was using it around his yard to move parts. When I got it home and started removing engine I noticed there was some differences and could not bolt up original trans to newer engine. So I decided to replaced the whole eng/trans module all as one unit. But now I'm getting the P0733 code only. I had to use original TCM as well. The van shifts well up through the gears but when it goes to downshift is when everything goes funny. TC light flashes, pops fuse under dash for traction control. I don't want to take it to the dealership for a re-flash if it's not going to work. Wondering if there is any other solutions.

There is a difference in the resistance of the solenoids in the transmission certain years. If you use the PCM from the wrecked unit you should have no concerns. If it is from the wreck then the trans may have a concern that was there before the wreck. Also check for pinched or shorted wires from the swap.
