For your 2009 Subaru Impreza,  the P2227 code indicates a problem with the Atmospheric Pressure sensor. The Atmospheric Pressure sensor is built into the PCM.

With the engine speed more than 500 rpm; vehicle speed less than 1 mph, absolute pressure stable (± 1.2 kPa), and the PCM detected an invalid signal from the Atmospheric Pressure sensor. The intake manifold pressure and atmospheric pressure are the same when turning the Ignition key from "on" to "start". This diagnostic compares the pressure from intake manifold pressure and atmospheric pressure sensors for too much variation.
