P0011 Intake camshaft position timing over advanced

This is for Bank 1 VCT actuator, Is there any valve noise ? Low on oil. ?And does the engine make a timing chain rattle noise? Try doing the variable valve timing solenoid before getting into the actuator. Ford is plaque with P0011 and P0022 there has been TSB for this conditon. Do the varialve valve solenoid first.

Here is a varaible valve solenoid for a Ford 4.6. The shop replace the cylinder head do to a head gasket,  It set a P0011.The shop recheck and redid the timing chain replace the variable ,valve timing actuator the timing chain tensioner , and both timing chains. The engine would timing chain would rattle and engine would misfire, They refuse to do any more and refuse to put in any more money and would rather resort to a used engine. They took the timing cover off 3 times. By 3 different Ford Techs. Since this code condition plaque alot of Ford engine  4.6 a easy solutuion had to be made.

Here the offending cylinder solenoid is removed, I made a gasket for it at its base, this only shims the solenoid at its oil ports.

Here the finished solenoid with its gasket, to my suprise, the engine timing chain ratttle disappeared and not only did it not rattle anymore it had more horse power and torque. P0011 and P0022 are easily solved, Just do one side of the cylinder head the cylinder that cause the code.it will not work if you do both sides.
