98 Chevy Camaro P0480 and P0481 codes

Question

Im getting P0480 (Cooling fan 1 control circut malf) and P0481 (Cooling fan 2 control circut malf) codes on my car and was wondering if they could be triggered due to no A/C refrigerant pressure. I ask this because in reading about the codes it says that is one of the sensors it goes through. The fans work properly when bypassing the relays.. I replaced both relays with new ones..

Hi there,

This should not cause the problem. The A/C pressure sensor doesn't turn on both fans, just the second fan.

The issue sounds like the wiring from the pcm or the fuses to the relays. If you can jump the relays and get the fans to come on, then the computer isn't telling the fans to come on.
