P0325 Honda -

Question

Hi
I hear a ping sound around 2200rpm,3500 and sometimes around 4000rpm.
I asked a Honda dealer,they said I must replace my knock sensor and upgrade the ECU.
There is no warning lights and nothing feels wrong with the car.
I would like to know if this is the case?
And will I do any harm to my engine driving like this?

Pinging noise, yes you can harm the engine , If the dealer suggested this as the required  fix you should allow it.
