I have a Dodge Caravan 3.8L with code P0303. What does the code mean?

P0303 Misfire number 3 cylinder

Anytime there is a misfire that cylinder does not contribute,this can be from a ignition problem to a fuel injector or even a mechainical condition

Here is a Chrysler with a misifre condition  it was so intermittent

The sparkplug wire was check what was found was the sparkplug boot allowing secondary ignition to seek ground. , the fix could of been just one sparkplug wire, a full tune up with a new set of sparkplug and sparkplug wire was the fix.
