p0031 bank1 sensor 1

Question

i have 2005 4runner and it shows me check engine light I am trying to diagnostics my car
its shows 2 codes p0031 p0051 I dint no what can I do ?

HI there,

These codes are for the bank 1 and bank 2 O2 sensor heaters. Since you have codes for both sides of the engine at the same time, I would start by looking at the fuses under the hood. One or more should be labeled O2 sensor or sensor heater. If it's blown it could cause codes for both sides of the engine. The front O2 sensors are what the codes are for. These are before the catalytic converters.
