Hyundai Accent 2005 - P0132 code.

I recently changed the O2 sensor. But around the connector that you plug it in the manifold, I put electrical tape and I believe it has melted in the wires. Does this harm the O2 sensor?

My freeze frame data is
Fuel Status = 0 byte
Engine Load = 27.059 %
Engine Coolant Temperature = 87 °C
Fuel Trim Bank 1 Short Term = 0 %
Fuel Trim Bank 1 Long Term = 0 %
Intake Manifold Pressure = 4.641 psi
Engine RPM = 1,231.75 rpm
Speed (OBD) = 43 km/h
Timing Advance = 8 °
Intake Air Temperature = 39 °C
Throttle Position(Manifold) = 6.275 %
End of report.

Voltage is 1. 3.

Any help much appreciated

P0132 Oxygen sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 circuit high voltage

Circuit high is a disconnection, If you see the fuel statue it should at least state open or losed, but you have neither and as for the fuel trim with short and long you have 0. The ECM does not see the 02 sensor, all it know is that you are not connected, fix the connection. the 02 may not be harmed just the connector
