C1242 ABS outlet valve coil LR circuit failure

This is for the ABS system. when the EBCM (electronic brake control module) grounds the outlet valve of the LR circuit the valve open instead of closes. either the EBCM detected a open or short in the RF outlet valve circuit, there is only 2 possible places for this code condition it either with the EBCM or the BPMV (brake pressure modulator valve)

 With this type of ABS code system most shop that do the ABS repair will more than likely do both the EBCM and the BPMV. by doing so this cuts the liabilty
