P0128 Coolant thermostat malfucntion

When the CK ENG LT was cleared not only did the freeze frame data get cleared, but the monitor got reset. To get the code back a certain drive cycle would have to be accomplished,  just drive the vehicle as normally would, Because you have a thermostat malfucntion it will come back when certain monitor go to complete.  Also this is a hybrid vehicle in 09/23/2014 Ford has issued a Recall  for the Hybrid motor electronic coolant pump. (MEC) Recall # NHTSA Campaign number 14V526000. What Ford will do is replace the (MEC) Motor electronic coolant pump. They would replace the thermostat .Because this is a Recall there is no need for a thermostat code.
