can egr affect transmission on2002 isuzu axiom

i have 2002 isuzu axiom transmission shiftes good when cold no check engine light
after ablut 13 miles the engine light comes on code p0401 and tran light
starts shafting hard next day light off start all over again

P0401 EGR insufficient flow

With this code is more than likely a failed EGR, But in very rare case   the EGR works and what happens it was the MAP (Maniflold absolute pressure) sensor where it was not low enough to set a MAP sensor code. So in return yes it can affect the transmission, depending on the cause of the EGR insufficient code, the engine  uses a MAP sensor and is a speed density. .The EGR code can contribute the the hard shift.To begin with the Isuzu is famous for the driveline clunk noise which is common on this model.

Here is a EGR that has frozed in a slighlty open position, it is no longer operational, the only solution was to replace the EGR, Being slightly opened caused a P0300 (random misfire) with a P0171 (lean code) .
