I have a 2007 Chrysler 300 3.5L. I purchased it with only an ignition key, no FOB so every time I opened the door the alarm went off. I purchased a FOB from EBAY and took it to a Chrysler dealer today. The dealer charged 45$ to cut the key and then I had to have the PCM or something like that reprogrammed because after 3 attempts it would not program. He stated that he had to clear it and reprogram it. It worked I suppose and the fob worked on doors, trunk and ignition. 3 hours later my check engine light comes on and it is giving this code P0513 and U140E. What can / should I do?

Best answer
P0513 Invalid Skim Key

U140E Implausible vehicle configuration data received

The ECM has to be checked to see if the VIN matches the ECM. This is something the dealer has to recheck.
