P0021 Intake cam position timing over advanced

This code conditon is for the valve control timing, it mostly a mechaincal condition witht the VCT solenoid. It usually set with a P0340

     

 

Here is a Ford Mustang 4.6 . the cylinder head was replaced and with new camshaft gears and timing chain. At idle the vehicle ran great but once a load was placed on the engine P0021 and P0022 would code up followed by a rough idle and timing chain rattle noise. A test at the VCT proved  that the fault was mechaincal with the VCT. Fustration with the shop that did the repair tooks its toll and did want nothing to do with this repair. The fix for this was to remove the VCT solenoid and make a gasket for the solenoid,
