I got the P0604 code after I replaced the battery on my 2001 BMW 330 CIC. It went away after I turned it OFF and then turned it back ON and drove 7 miles (of which 5 miles were on the highway).

Vehicle: 2001 BMW 330 CIC (E346)

Hi there,

This code is for an internal random access memory issue. This is inside the ECM, best testing for this is with the dealer scan tool. They can check for updates to try and resolve the problem for you.
