Ive had the codes 7E8 and 7EC on a 2008 bmw 335d e92 thankyou

The engine management light comes on green and doesn't give full power. The codes 7E8 & 7EC come up and there is the option to delete these. Does anybody know what these faults are as I've looked and can't find them. Thankyou.

The code 7E8 is not an OBDII code. When the OBDII scanner plugs in your vehicle, the OBDII scanner gets the 7E8 ($7E8) code from the ECM. The code is a menu of systems that the OBDII scanner can access. OBDII scanner interprets the code and displays the menu. Some scanners can't solve these codes and show the codes instead of the interpretation. Clicking on the code menu will read the OBDII codes (e.g. P0420 or P0455), if any, from that system.
