2007 Saturn Aura XE 3.5L V6 with engine code P0430

Question

Which converter would I need to get if I bought it. I understand there are different ones. I can purchase one on internet much cheaper and have it installed. Should I replace 02 sensors first?

Hi there,

This code is for the bank 2 catalytic converter. On this model this is the converter at the front of the engine closest to the radiator. It is possible the O2 sensor is causing the code, but in most cases it is the converter with the issue.
