P0453 Ford escape 2004 i replaced the ftp sensor and the check engine still on?

P0453 Ford escape 2004. i just replace the ftp sensor and the engine light still wont shut off and its still reading the same code what do i doooooooo

Here is a list of other possible causes. My personal experience has been with the vent control valve. The wiring to it sometimes breaks.

• Defective Fuel Tank Sending Unit 
• Defective or damaged Fuel Tank
• Defective Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor, wiring, or computer
• Defective Carbon Canister
• Defective Canister Vent Valve - (won't open)
