P0856 - Chevy Colorado

Question

I have a 09 Chevy Colorado. While driving, brake light, traction control light, and ABS lights all came on at the same time. Message center was flashing traction control fault,ABS fault,and brake fault. Scan read code P0856. Traction control input signal. Check engine light is NOT on. Checked all fuses,all okay. Where do I go from here?

Not an easy code to diagnose. You could start by disconnecting and reconnecting the Engine Control Module (ECM) and Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). Make sure both connectors are fully connected. Clear the code and drive. If the problem persists you should consider visiting the dealer for further inspection.
