Ive got a pathfinder it starts and runs great for a while then starts chugging like a majorly dead cylinder all i get is a po325 knock sensor code i tested for spark it loses spark i pulled off cap rotor and the cover that goes over the pick up and coil i found the reluctor wheel scorched and damaged ordering a new distributor for it and i am replacing the rubber elbow before the throttle plate cause it was ripped i am hoping the distributor fixes the problem... should i also look at the fuel pump cause itll start and run every day until it gets warm thwm develops the miss and stalls out im lost i dont want a comeback

HI there,

On these losing spark is normally caused by the distributor so the replacement should resolve the problem. As for the knock sensor code, that code will not even turn on the check engine light. This can usually be left alone without having to worry about having other issues.
