I have checked the 20 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood as well as the relay that's in the same fuse box . And I have changed the tranny filter and the tranny cooler filter and put in new tranny fluid . And it's still shifting real hard and slipping. Any advice or info would be great thanks.

P1768 Relay output always off

This is more of a electrical problem where the electrical condition needs to be ruled out, 2 area that are to be concerned, wiring issue or the TCM (transmission control module

Whith the key on engine off (or running) go to the TCM relay and check to see if you have power at pin 87 and go the the TCM and check to see if you have the ground command from the TCM. If there is no ground command from the TCM pin 15 you would need a TCM.
