2006 Dodge Durango 4.7L I'm getting both engine codes P0420 & P0430, does this mean there are 2 converters, 1 on each side, and they are both bad?

There are 2 converters however it doesn't always mean both are bad. It's possible there is an issue with the way the engine is running that could cause both converter codes. You should make sure the engine is in good tune, the air cleaner is clean and that there aren't any exhaust leaks in the system.
