Hello all. My check engine light came on this morning. This winter has been tough in Virginia, and during morning starts, on occasion the idle would be extremely low, then stabilize after maybe 15-30secs. Starts have been normal for a week, then this morning after driving to work at 0400 in the morning, it came on. I troubleshot and got the OBD2 code to read P0159. I opened my gas cap, and secured it tight. I'm trying to figure out how to solve this issue. Right after I used the OBD tool, it took 4 starts to get the vehicle to start, and the false starts smelled of fuel inside the cabin. Since then, after a warm engine, she ran fine all day and night, but the check engine light is still on. What do I need to do to fix her? Thank you in advance.

P0159 Catalyst monitor sensor slow response

This code that you have can be from a result from a hard to start condition, check for any vacuum hose that may have ruptured or disconnected, the code condition would not be the cause of a false start or hard to start stuation.
