Disconnecting the battery for a few minutes did not work. Without using a scanner, how do I reset it?

Hi there,

You need to disconnect the battery for as much as 24 hours. The ECM has a back up battery in it that will also have to drain. Disconnecting overnight is sometimes long enough to clear the old codes.
