once the truck is cranked up. it runs like a champ and you can cut off and crank up with know problem. it turns over but hard to start up in morning sometimes have to hold the gas down when cranking

When the engine is cold it needs more fuel. The pressure can be weak.Or the coolant temperature sensor not indicating the correct temperature.The problem about this situation is there is no code that will be set, You would have to use a scan tool and monitor it live data stream when the engine is cold.What you can do is perform a throttle body cleaning and a MAF air flow cleaning,
