saturn vue has code p0300

Question

engine light came on. garage changed o2 sensor. light came back on in three days. now code is p0300 and garage says its multiple misfires. what could it be

P0300 Random misfire

Was the CK ENG LT flashing? If it was flashing this would be ignition related and a injector of that offending cylinder may get disabled, this would be to protect the catalytic convertor. The number 1 reason for misfire would be ignition related such as sparkplug wire , or ignition coil and even the sparkplug themselves
