2001 Kia spectra started losing power finally Check engine came on code said camshaft position sensor high input so I replaced the camshaft sensor but it didn't work, light went off then came back on still runs bad. Thought maybe the new sensor was faulty so I exchanged it and still didn't work. Someone told me to try the crank shaft sensor so I tried that too still not working. ???

Camshaft sensor high input , means the ECM does not see the camshaft sensor signal..either it is a poor connection or a open connection of the sensor. This is more of a open connection , this would not be the CKP (crankshaft position sensor) the vehicle would not even start or it would of coded cam and crankshaft correlation code. This code is more of a wiring issue
