2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS 1.6L with engine code P2101

Question

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Aveo LS 1.6L it is running well but has an engine code of p2101 and when I go for a ride it has no acceleration and tops out at 25mph and 2500rpm would this be a sensor issue or is the actual throttle body itself?

HI there,

This code is for the throttle motor actuator. This would be part of the throttle body itself and would require replacement of the throttle body. Basically the throttle motor ins't moving the plate inside the throttle. Check and make sure you have power to it before replacing the throttle.
