P0698 Volkswagen - which sensor is it

Question

I have both the engine management light on and a flashing glow plug light on, seems to be lacking power in the lower gears. It has been on a tester and the code comes up as p0698 sensor c earth low. The thing is it does not say which sensor it is? I have googled it and not come up with a sensor name. Can you help
