P0191 Ford -

Question

I have a 08 F250 and while driving engine lite comes on and loses power/ seems as if
I'm out of fuel. I hooked up my scanner and got a P0191 code and others such as P0300 and
P0301, I can clear the code and the truck will run fine for 3 mile to sometimes 40 mile does this
Seem to be a sensor issue.

P0191 Fuel Rail pressure sensor "A" circuit range / performance

If this code was a P0193 you would not do a fuel pressure test, not with a rail pressure sensor that is non operational.you would have to satisfy P0193 code condition first in order to a fuel pressure test. But you have P0191 this is the range / performance which can be cause by low fuel pressure , the FRP  is working you may just need a fuel pump and a fuel filter should also be replaced.
