Question

I have a p0103, p025a and u 0109 codes on my 2012 ford focus. Are they possibly related? Car wont start and smells bad like raw fuel.

P0103 MAF (mass airflow) circuit high

P025A Fuel pump module "A" control circuit / open

U0109 Lost communication with fuel pump control module A

This would be related, check under the vehicle where the fuel tank is is there any raw fuel smell coming from that area? It the raw fuel smell you need to search for it can be from a disconnected fuel line from the fuel tank to the fuel pump area.

 

Here is a vehicle that had a hard time starting and set a MAF code and lean code condition, the driver complained of raw fuel smell and getting dizzy. By going near the vehicle raw fuel fuel can be smelled inpecting under the vehicle where the fuel tank is reveal a leak , Removed the fuel tank and at the pump area are cracks which where the cause of hard starting and the fuel smell
