2002 Toyota Corolla 1.6L with engine code P0420

Hi there!

I was wondering what the last P stands for in the Engine code.

The code it self I can understand is that the catalyst is not working properly. But it also writes out the letter P in the end.

Hi Daniel, basically the P indicates that the code is also pending in the computer. It doesn't change the meaning of the code in any way.
