P0507 is there a simple place to check first

Question

replaced PCM and IAC motor and gasket 0ctober of 2014, engine replaced (used)2015 with new intake, oil pan and rear main seal gaskets. Drove about 3 days when check engine light came on. Idles high when started then drops to between 600-800rpm. Seems to idle fine when when warmed up and stopped, but sounds more like a "hot rod" when accelerating.
