P0700 KIA -

Question

I have an error code PO700 on my 04 Kia Sorento. When I accelerate there is a loss in power. The car can be sitting at an idle state (in gear) but seems to want to shut off or stall. If not in gear, it idles fine.
Any suggestions? Please help!

The P0700 code means that there is a problem with the transmission, but unfortunately it doesn't exactly describes what the problem is. You have to have an scanner that can access the transmission control unit and read the code.
