Question

Jaguar 2003 XKR DTC Code B1234 "Mirror Switch Invalid Code" What does that mean? What is the point in having a code if it does not tell you what part has gone wrong, if indeed it has. Suggestions?

I would be delightfully surprised if anyone can answer this question. Searched google found nothing except what I know already. One can guess at trying to replace the switch, but does it simply mean that once it was moved too much but there is nothing actually wrong with the switch?
