P0171 Volkswagen - 2.5L

Question

I have tried every solution for this code and my check eng light keeps coming back on.
My mechanic doesn't even want to work on the car anymore because he can't find the problem.
Is there some obscure solution to this po171 problem? PLEASE! Is there a 2.5L po171 guru out there somewhere...HELP!

P0171 Fuel trim lean

Any vacuum leaks at the PCV valve or broken oil dipstick tube,On this VW the PCV was changed which was the cause for P0171.
