P0123 code on my 2004 Nissan Maxima 3.5L V6

Question

I have a 2004 maxima i want to know when i drive my car for like 25mins and i slow down or stop my car stop working and it takes like 5-10 mins and it turns on and runs good but i get to a stop the the rpms niddle si moving but the car is moving slow untill it pick up speed and ithinking the problem is the TPS what do you think ?

HI there,

This code is in fact for the throttle position sensor, however if the car is turning off and not restarting right away it's likely some other issue causing the problem. The TPS generally won't keep the car from starting.
