Hi there,

The remote start won't usually cause this code. This is a communication code and a lot of times it's due to a bad ground. The dash support has many grounds on it and sometimes it's not grounded to the body good. Simply loosening and tightening the bolts that hold it to the body can sometimes solve this problem.
