P1632 Chevrolet -

Question

Can this code cause fuel cutoff when engine already running? While idling or driving at speed? If so, why & how to correct? Thanks for any suggestions.

P1632 Theft deterent fuel disabled.

The theft deterent does not stall the engine as you drive or once it is started, it can code up if you are excessively cranking the engine with a no start condition,. .Check the security light it should go off when the vehicle is started, If this still has trouble you may need a ignition switch
