P0441 Mitsubishi - Lancer accompanied by intermittemt huge loss of power??

Question

After driving for a distance I am experiencing complete loss of engine power which drifts in an out ?
Shutting the car off and waiting can restore power.
What can this be? the only code I find is the P0441

P0441 Evaporative emission control incorrect Purge Flow

This code condition can cause this if the purge solenoid is stuck in the open position, and it will affect the quality of the idle .
