P1273 Nissan - 350z

fault code displayed on a 350z
any advice please as failed mot on high emmissions

I would start by checking for intake leaks and cleaning the mass air flow sensor with mass air flow sensor cleaner. Then disconnect the battery for an hour or so to reset the ECU. 

if the code comes back its possible the bank 1 sensor 1 oxygen sensor is bad 

 

Possible causes

- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 Bank 1 

- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater Bank 1 

- Fuel pressure

- Faulty Fuel injector 

- Intake air leaks

- Faulty Air Flow Meter
