P0335 Dodge - Dodge Ram 1500

Question

So this code has been a recurring problem on this car. I have already replaced the crank timing sensor once. Then within 5K miles, same problem again? Do these sensors really fail that often? Mike contact at [email protected]

P0335 Crankshaft position (CKP)  sensor "A" circuit malfunction

This is code is a famous code where the CKP looses it 5 volts refference intermittently. When you have "A" this is its refference voltage to the sensor. This  is a poor connection of the refference voltage to the CKP sensor,  check the terminal condition Here is a connection of a IAT sensor where it coded a sensor circuit high, which means power is given to the sensor and the sensor is not giving back a signal, so it codes circuit high. I was able to use a safety pin to squeeze the terminal so it can make proper contact, P0335 with a Dodge mean during cranking the signal is missing. check for poor connection.
